Yewande Esther Oyeniyi is a Nigerian contemporary visual artist whose practice explores the material and psychological dimensions of the female form. Working primarily in mixed media, she investigates texture, surface, and embodiment as sites of memory and resilience. She holds a Higher National Diploma in Painting from Yaba College of Technology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Theatre Arts from the University of Benin, Edo State, and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Painting from the University of Benin, Edo State. Her work has been exhibited in group exhibitions including Africa4Her (Terra Kulture, Lagos), [RE:] entanglements (in collaboration with Nosona Studio and The British Museum), Her Vim (Kakaaki Gallery, Lagos), and Fragments of Her (Art Cadre Gallery, Lagos), among others.
