Amani Noor Iqbal is a contemporary British-Pakistani artist who specializes in painting on the medium of porcelain. Through her work she explores themes of intimacy and human connection as well as the power of imagination. Born in Glasgow in 1993 she migrated to Lahore, Pakistan at an early age. Here she studied Fine Arts at the National College of Arts, where she received her BFA in 2015. She went on to work at Albany Arts in London in 2017 before founding Picasso Tea and Me in Scotland in 2020. This growing business and movement strive to incorporate art into everyday life though hand painted, bespoke porcelain pieces. Amani currently works and resides in Lahore.
