Ammara Rafiq

Ammara Rafiq is a Lahore-based visual artist who earned her Master of Fine Arts (Gold Medalist) in Visual Arts from the College of Art and Design in 2022. Her practice focuses on abstract miniature drawings, though she explores contemporary themes using intricate compositions and delicate detailing. Rafiq has showcased her work in several national and international exhibitions. Notably, she participated in the international group exhibition ‘Peace and Prosperity’ held in Baku, Azerbaijan (2022), and exhibited in ‘Contemplation’ (2022). Her works have also been featured in ‘Untitled’ (2022), ‘The Four at Art Next Gallery’ (2022), ‘Exhibition’ (2022), ‘Her Works’, and ‘The Art of Chit’ (2022). Additionally, her paintings have been presented in multiple Young Artists Exhibitions at Alhamra Art Gallery, Lahore. Alongside her artistic career, she serves as a visiting faculty member in the Fine Arts Department at Government College University (GCU), Lahore.
