Hadia Moiz

Hadia Moiz is a Pakistani visual artist with a wide and varied practice. She engages critically with the traditional practice of miniature painting by reimagining its formal and conceptual boundaries through innovative material and narrative strategies. She received her MA (Hons.) in Visual Arts from the National College of Arts, Lahore, in 2016. Since 2006, her work has been exhibited extensively both in Pakistan and abroad, including in the United States, the UK, Algeria, and the United Arab Emirates. She has participated in several art fairs, such as Istanbul Contemporary, Scope Miami, and the Bastakiya Art Fair in Dubai. Notable solo exhibitions include Read at O Art Space, Lahore, and Lusty Lover and Lota Republic at Khaas Gallery, Islamabad. Moiz was a resident at the VASL Taza Tareen II Artist Residency in 2007. Her work has been featured in various local and international publications. She currently lives and works in Islamabad.
