Umaina Khan

Umaima Khan is a Karachi-based visual artist and curator, known for her vibrant palette and expressive explorations of the female form in relation to society. A graduate in Fine Arts from the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, 2021, her work often challenges societal perceptions of women with wit and bold visual language. Her first solo exhibition, *Body Bakery, offered a sharp, satirical commentary on how women’s bodies are consumed and objectified.
Umaima has showcased her work nationally and internationally, including a recent exhibition at Soho House (Hong Kong) in 2025. She co-curated the opening of the inaugural Women Rising pavilion at Dubai Art Now and currently serves as the lead co-curator for Artforher MENA, an international art platform based in Italy. Alongside her curatorial and artistic practice, she is dedicated to art education and teaches at her alma mater, the *Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture.
