

Umaina Khan is a Karachi-based visual artist and curator, known for her vibrant palette and expressive explorations of the female form in relation to society. A graduate in Fine Arts from the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture, 2021. Her work often challenges societal perceptions of women with wit and bold visual language. Her first two solo exhibitions, Body Bakery and conversations with the cake lady, offered a sharp, satirical commentary on how women’s bodies are consumed and objectified. Umaina has showcased her work nationally and internationally, including a recent exhibition at Soho House Hong Kong in 2025, culture lab, new york in 2025, She co-curated the opening of the inaugural World Culture Festival in 2024 and 2025. currently serves as the lead co-curator for ArtBridger MENA, an international art platform based in Italy. Alongside her curatorial and artistic practice, she is dedicated to art education and teaches at her alma mater, the Indus Valley School of Art and architecture
