
Muhammad Atif Khan is a distinguished Pakistani artist who graduated with distinction in Fine Art from the
National College of Arts, Lahore, in 1997. Over a career spanning 28 years, he has received numerous
international awards, including the UNESCO-ASHBURG Bursary (1998), Commonwealth Arts & Crafts
Award (2007), ADAAward (2020–21), and Nigaah Art Award (2023). He has held residencies in Jordan, the
UK, and Scotland, and showcased his work at prestigious institutions such as the Aga Khan Museum
(Toronto), Sharjah Art Museum and the Islamic Museum of Australia. With 23 solo exhibitions across Pakistan,
Europe, the Middle East, and India, he has also co-curated the Asian Art Biennale in Bangladesh (2022) and
produced large-scale public installations in Lahore. Alongside his practice, he teaches as an Assistant
Professor at the National College of Arts, Lahore.
