
Talat Dabir (b. 1945) is a distinguished Pakistani sculptor and ceramist renowned for her innovative exploration of the human form. A graduate of the National
College of Arts (NCA) Lahore in 1969, she later served as an associate professor there, influencing generations of artists. Her work, primarily in terracotta,
delves into themes of spirituality, history, and architecture, often featuring elongated figures and intricate reliefs. Dabir has exhibited extensively, both nationally
and internationally, earning accolades such as the First Prize at the National Art Biennale in 1988 and a Gold Medal from the Pakistan National Council of the
Arts in 1994. Her sculptures are part of numerous public and private collections worldwide, including a prominent mural at Lahore's international airport. Beyond
her artistic practice, she has been a pivotal figure in art education, mentoring countless students during her tenure at NCA.
