Born and raised in Lahore, Komal Hira graduated from the University of Punjab, College of Art and Design with a major in Painting in 2018 and did MFA Visual Arts from the same institute in 2022. Her art practice deals with abstract biomorphic assemblages composed of shapes and symbols. She has participated in various group shows nationally and internationally. She has curated group exhibition in Coopera Art Gallery named “Aurat Aesthetics” . She has also worked as an Art Instructor in LSAT and Ahmad Mumtaz Studio.
