Professor Dr. Rahat Naveed Masud is a painter, teacher, educator and curator.
She has been awarded several National Awards in recognition of her work, including the Presidential Award 'Pride of Performance'. She was also presented with the
'International Artist for Peace' Award, Shanghai, China, Fatima Jinnah National Award, Artists' Association of Punjab Award and Punjab Council of the Arts Award
As a figurative painter, her work is deeply rooted in the soil of her land. Her work is part of both private and public collections and has been widely exhibited, in
exhibitions held in Pakistan, China, Iran, India, South Korea, Oman, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, the USA, the U.K., Sri Lanka, and Tanzania.
She is the former principal of the College of Art and Design and the former Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the University of the Punjab.
