in Performing Arts from Sindh Institute of Music and Performing Arts in 2020. Her early work focuses on mixed media on canvas, where she deconstructs
images and their appearances in relation to other images. Her current Art practice focuses on unpacking the portrayals and objectification of women in popular
media, mostly local cinema and magazines. Through this exploration I aim to highlight the issues surrounding the representation of women, fostering a deeper
understanding and how they are perceived and valued in our society. I use oil on canvas, as a medium to explore the complexities of these portrayals. I seek to
address both the global and local dimensions of media representation which is essential for a more nuanced understanding of how women are objectified and
portrayed in different context.
