After completing her Master's in Fine Arts with distinction from Punjab University, Lahore, the artist embarked on a new chapter in 2007, moving to the UK to continue her practice while freelancing as an art tutor. Before relocating, she had a robust career spanning over 12 years as a lecturer in fine arts. Alongside her teaching career, she worked as a visualiser/designer in a software house, further honing her creative skills. Reflecting on the past 20 years, she notes, "The change in environment has influenced my artistic development, nurturing an interest in the excitement of dance and the beauty of the natural world
