Khadija Tahir, a Lahore-based visual artist, graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Art from National College of Arts
(NCA) in 2024 with a major in painting. Her focus is on capturing the essence of simplicity and quietude of a
scene while exploring the interplay of light shadow, and form within a composition. She strives to evoke
emotions of nostalgia and curiosity through deliberate brushstrokes and markmaking, resulting in visuals that
blur the line between representational and nonrepresentational art.
Khadija has exhibited her work at Tagh'eer Lahore, in a collaborative show between Tagh'eer Lahore and The
Art Den in Dubai (2024), at Khamsa Art Gallery, O Art Space (2024) and Lakir (2024).
I had a great time at the residency with Muse Art Gallery, which was characterized by improvement in my art practice
and skill. I was honored to be the first artist contacted for this residency at Muse Art Gallery, which made the
opportunity a lot more special. The gallery's initiative to foster a collaborative environment, alongside the
provision of facilities, made the entire experience even more rewarding. I am deeply grateful to have been part
of such a commendable program.
