Qasim Bugti (b. 1984, Jaffarabad, Balochistan) is a Contemporary Visual Artist, Miniature Painter, and Art
An educationist based in Karachi, Pakistan. A graduate of the National College of Arts, Lahore (2009), he has held nine
solo exhibitions and participated in over fifty group shows nationally and internationally, including the Lahore
Biennale and Satrang Gallery, Islamabad. He received the National Youth Award in Painting and Calligraphy (2021),
the Haji Shareef Prize in Miniature Painting from NCA (2011), and was selected for the Ercelawn Art Fund
Mentoring Program. His practice merges the precision of miniature painting with contemporary themes, reflecting
both tradition and innovation.
