MALAIKA IQBAL

Sabr one of the two parts of faith, teaches us to remain spiritually steadfast. It is patience in the face of all unexpected and unwanted outcomes. In a world that often seems chaotic and unpredictable, my artwork seeks to explore the concept of sabr. Through my creative expression, I aim to delve into the power and beauty that can be found in embracing life's curveballs with grace and resilience. The essence of my work lies in capturing moments of struggle, adversity, and uncertainty, and transforming them into visual narratives that convey the transformative power of saber. Each piece serves as a reminder to myself and the audience that life's challenges, no matter how daunting, are merely opportunities for growth and self-discovery.
I have worked in different scripts i.e. Naskh and Deewani and modern font. For the color palette in my work, I didn't use any specific colors as for me art can't be bound to limitations. By repeating and overlapping that, I am trying to make rhythm in my work. Lettering plays a major part in my paintings. Using a combination of colors, textures, and compositions, I strive to evoke a sense of resilience and inner peace.
