I chose this surah because it is the one of the important Surah of Holy Quran for human life. Surah Yaseen is Heart of Quran. It provides internal peace of heart, mind and soul. It presents the essential themes of the Quran, the unlimited power of ALLAH, His creations, the ultimate punishment of disbelievers. I will convey my message with the help of calligraphy with different mediums. I have written some verses of this surah in my calligraphy with different colors & styles. I have also written full Surah Yaseen on canvas with the help of a brush. So, in a way, this Surah helps us to become aware of Surah Yaseen, to open our eyes & our hearts & see all the bounties that Allah has provided us. These calligraphies will allow me to express my ideas freely as I want to inspire others. I have used different scripts to make it modern. The major script I use in my artwork is advertising NASKH & DEWANI, Khatt-e-Mualla. By repeating & overlapping of khatt I am trying to make rhythm in my work. In my work, I usually used BLACK color which represents the Power of my work. I focused on composition & elements of design in my calligraphy like lines, color, texture & shades etc.
