Hails from a small city in southern Punjab, Aimen Kathia was born in 1998. She received her
bachelor’s degree in fine arts in 2021, from prestigious University of the Punjab College of Arts &
Design, Lahore. Kathia’s visuals are primarily a fusion of pop surrealism and magic realism, and
aims to show the dark and hideous realities embedded in the whimsical world. She has been a part
of Al- Hamra art Center, khamsa.and dominion gallery. The artist currently works in Lahore
