Mahrukh Bajwa completed her MA (Hons.) in Visual Art from National College of Arts, Lahore in
2017. She works mainly in mix-media drawing and photography. She has participated in a number of group shows, in different cities including exhibitions at the Taseer Art Gallery,
Lahore, Two person Show at Full Circle Gallery, Karachi and My Art world, Islamabad. She has also worked as an independent researcher with a publication in THAAP Journal for research. In 2018 she was invited to present her paper on 'Decolonization in the Arts and Humanities' at the 6th International Conference on Arts and Humanities, Malaysia. Currently she is a part of the MA (Hons.) Visual Art department at the NCA as a visiting faculty. Her work deals with the experience of human existence and the narratives surrounding that. Her dialogue is engaged with the innate psychological and emotional sensibilities of human connection, relating her personal reflections to the larger audience.
