Ahsen Asif born in Lahore. He is an interdisciplinary artist and has been working as a faculty member of National college of arts. He Graduated from National College of Arts and also done Masters from the same university. He taught in several other universities in Lahore as an art educationist like UET, PIFD, COMSAT and University of Education Lahore. He is giving his expertise in different fields of arts. He has been participated in national projects also like sculpting the captain Sarwar Shaheed sculpture at army museum, Rawalpindi. Ahsen Asif has done several international residencies, Netherlands, Madrid and in Turkey. In his 20 years practicing career as visual artist and as an art educationist, Ahsen Asif has done seven solo shows and more than twenty group shows nationally and internationally. His work is a translator of traditional and modern contemporary imagery based on his diverse experience. Now Ahsen asif is securing his place as a visual artist and as art educationist in Pakistani art scene.
