Ufaq Ehsan is a illumine of National College of arts. She is also a motivational speaker, art therapist, councilor and an art teacher. She has been part of both national and international art scene. She received Sadequain pride of performance award for her contribution to the field of fine arts. Her main inspiration is the Sufi literature and the conquest to discover her spirituality through her creations. In these paintings she explores the concept of feminine spirituality in sufism. The female in Sufi literature is the symbol of soul and its yearning to connect to the beloved which is infect the divine Allah. The story of journey from Ishaq-e-Haqiqi to Ishiq-e-Majazi. Ufaq' s work is an exploration of how the female is empowered in Sufi literature as a finder or salik who will move heavens to meet her beloved. And this beloved is the infinite truth known as Ishaq-e-Haqiqi the quest of all Sufi souls.
