Saba Zahid graduated from National college of Arts in 2014, majoring in painting and later did her master’s degree in painting from Coventry University, UK. Through her paintings, she discusses the image of a woman in today’s world; image and identity and how today's culture and traditions have molded it, irrespective of the timeline and status. She uses inspirations from her own life and observations through the female lens that builds the narrative of her works. Zahid was part of Vardo Art residency where she worked along with truck artist Haider Ali, she has also displayed her work nationally and internationally. She was the runner up for the Arjumand painting award in 2015. Currently, she is working on an international art exchange project with the British council and Coventry city of Culture.
