Minaa Haroon is an interdisciplinary artist and has been working as the Assistant Director at Lahore Arts Council and in charge of Alhamra Academy of Performing and Visual Arts. She graduated with Bachelors in Fine Arts from NCA, Lahore and later did Masters in Art and Design with Honors' from BNU. In her practice, the orientation of objects and spaces investigates the personal and social expression of self-organization and self-identity. Through traces of memory, she investigates objects by transforming them in tangible marks that shift the existing object into their impressions and about the presences of humans associating with them. Haroon has exhibited her work at various art galleries nationally and internationally including Biennale, Collegium New, Orsha, Suzhou University Museum, Antidot Dubai, Koel Gallery. She has curated at Alhamra and at Museum of Sociology and Anthropology, Thammasat University and Queen Sirkit Convention Center, Thailand. She has received the “Sir Percy Award'' at NCA, “Young artist 2012” at Alhamra Art Council.
