Hamama Tul Bushra graduated from the National College of arts , Lahore in 1988 and later did masters from University of Missouri-Kansas City, US. Trained as a graphic designer, Hamama Tul Bushra found her love for painting while documenting a doctoral thesis in art history. Picking her subjects from her surroundings, Bushra carefully preserves the soul of her female form. Her detached and isolated female is devoid of external pressure or any expectation that the society imposes on her. Bushra enjoys her rich culture and tradition and celebrates its ownership by embellishing through the female figures portrayed in her works. She has exhibited locally and internationally including at Ejaz art gallery, Hilliard Gallery and Gallery Kavanagh, Fineline Creative Arts Center.
