Ejaz Malik

Prof Ejaz was engrossed in studying as an autodidact in Fine art, Sculpture, Painting and landscape architecture from Museums, galleries, and places around the city. He has a very keen interest that ranges from landscape architecture to the temporal quality of interior spaces. In all his works, one can notice a very close relation between concepts of design, sculpture, painting, interiors, furniture, and architecture. His paintings are displayed in the National Art Gallery (Islamabad) among many other private collections. He is currently preparing an exhibition of portrait sculptures of prominent writers, poets, painters, singers, and intellectuals. He has had the privilege of establishing and heading the first Interior Design Department at the National College of Arts, Lahore. After 5 years at NCA, he moved to Beaconhouse National University, where he worked as an Associate Professor of Architecture and taught the 2nd and 3rd Year Architectural Design Studio. While at BNU, he developed a course that talks about the boundaries among Art, Design, and Architecture.
